Not paid for at taxpayer expense
An estimated crowd of more than 1,500 residents attended the District 3 Community
Fair and Summer Picnic on Saturday at Harlandale Park.
This first of a kind summer
event was hosted by District 3 Councilwoman Jennifer V. Ramos. The community fair
featured 35 San Antonio departments and private sector service providers. During
the event, 300 trees, 350 energy saving light bulbs and 100 box fans were distributed
along with nearly 1,000 picnic lunches.
Also, major Harlandale Park improvements
were featured at the event including the building of two new park pavilions, a monument
memorial plaque honoring the Jeannie’z Kidz organization, as well as new walkways

The goal of the Infrastructure Management Program and Rolling 5 Year Infrastructure
Management Plan is to evolve infrastructure management to a technical process in
which staff develops and recommends priorities to the City Council for their review
and approval.
The new policy would be used to identify projects and develop schedules
in the following programs:
* Street Maintenance
* Drainage Maintenance
* Sidewalks
