Event to feature free school supplies, free food, and free haircuts in preparation
for the start of the 2010 School Year
Councilwoman Jennifer V. Ramos will be hosting the 3rd annual "Back in Class Bash" on Wednesday August 18 at the VFW Post 9186 located at 650 VFW Blvd. The event will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Free backpacks and bags filled with school supplies will be given for District 3
area children preparing for the 2010 school year while supplies last. In addition,
Councilwoman Ramos will be providing a limited amount of free haircuts at the event
for the prospective school children. A free hot dog meal will also be served at the
event while supplies last.
This event is limited to children and their parents of the District 3 community.
